I was the cinematographer on this project, and I helped develop a treatment  on producer Verna Townson’s script. I also participated in the final cut of the project along with director Avery Childress.

We were on trails deep in the mountains, and many of our shots could be conceptualized but not actualized until we scouted out and found the right spot.  The biggest challenge was to simply be in the right spot shooting the right scene at the right time of day, because we were filming events within the cycle of nature :we had scenes in the day, evening, and night.  We also had to strategically use the flash light, the lantern, and the light of the truck at night .
